Steamed Swiss Chard


  • 10 large swiss chard leaves
  • 2 cups water


1 Rinse swiss chard thoroughly and chop off stalks. Roughly chop swiss chard about 1 inch apart.

2 Place water in bottom of an electric cooker or frying pan.

3 Bring to a simmer.

4 Add in swiss chard. Cover with lid and cook for 12 minutes.

5 Remove swiss chard from cooker or frying pan and place on a plate.

6 Press down on swiss chard to allow extra water to drain out.

Some of my personal favorite toppings include liquid aminos, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. You can experiment with others to make this easy recipe your own!
