- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- ¾ cup unbleached all purpose flour
- ½ cup whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup almond or soy milk
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 In a large bowl combine all wet ingredients including bananas.
2 Combine all dry ingredients in separate bowl.
3 Slowly incorporate dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Stir well to combine.
4 Place banana bread mixture into a 9 inch loaf pan.
5 Bake at 350° degrees for 60 minutes. When done let cool for 5 minutes before removing.
