V Is for Vegan: The ABCs of Being Kind by Ruby Roth - Book Review

V is for Vegan: The ABCs of Being Kind by Ruby Roth is not a book I would have thought to pick up on my own, but I am glad it made it my way. The reason I can say this is because it is a book that would be attractive to my grandson with it's engaging art style and positive message. Not exactly grandpa reading material, but pretty perfect for the young ones among us!

The book is a unique way to engage younger minds with topics of critical importance such as the value of a plant-based, vegan diet as well as some discussion about animal rights and environment sustainability. These are certainly dense topics that have been discussed at great length by doctors, scientists, philosophers, and everyone in between. While the topic is complex for adults, the reality however you view it is quite simple, and this is made incredibly clear in how it is able to be conveyed in a sensible manner to the youngest among us.

Even if your child is at an age where they won't fully comprehend all that is being said, this is still a great addition to go along with all the Dr. Seuss books probably in your collection already. Just try not to confuse this one with the vegan cookbook V is for Vegan by Kerstin Rodgers, or your grand-child or child may not end up as satisfied!

V is for Vegan: The ABCs of Being Kind is available on Amazon and other retailers as well.
